The recent Heads of Forestry meeting that was organised by Secretariat of the Pacific Community's Land Resource Division was a paperless meeting.
The 60 participants from SPC's member countries were instead provided with flash drive which had all the presentations for the meeting.
The main reason behind this initiative was to lead by example in having a sustainable forest management by saving trees through reduced usage of papers.
The concept was well received by the participants.
