FACT conducts food processing and food safety training at its training centre in Narere, Fiji.
Thirty one participants in this training are from Cook Island, FSM, Fiji, French Polynesia, Marshall Island, Wallis & Futuna. Vanuatu and Solomon Islands.
FACT's food safety expert Apiame Cegumalua and Manasa Katonivualiku are conducting this week long training. (10th August to 14th August.)
Main focus of this training is to raise awareness on food safety standard in the Pacific Island countries in a bid to compete with other food processing countries.
