Extension Workshop continues.....

The two weeks workshop has finally ended. The workshop has open up new horizon in communication especially with farmers.

some of the important issues are

• Production of Extension Material in consultation with subjects


• use of pictures and colours


• importance of applying local context to the publication esp pictures


• Best yet simple technique to deliver the message (non verbal)


• Pre/during and post printing procedures

Highlight of the trip was second visit to a Fijian village in Sigatoka, Fiji.

Some of the recommendation were

• Prepare and follow up Action plan.
• Update SPC/CTA on the progress of the Action Plan
• Organise and network with participants
• Embrace technology to assist in Extension work.
• Make Extension work interesting
